About the Position

Overview and core mission of this role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Account and Finance Controller to oversee our daily accounting operations, monitor recruitment budgets, ensure financial compliance, and deliver strategic financial insights. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial accuracy, cost control, and profitability monitoring for our manpower operations.

Key Responsibilities

What you will own and drive forward day-to-day

Daily Accounting & Operations: Manage, record, and maintain daily financial transactions, income, and operational costs using accounting software or advanced spreadsheets. Verify invoices, bills, and reconcile cash, bank, and digital payment statements.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports, Profit & Loss statements, and expense analysis. Monitor revenue streams from overseas partners and analyze key financial ratios (Profit Margin, Expense Ratio, Cost per Deployment, Operational Efficiency).

Budgeting, Projections & Planning: Formulate monthly and annual budget plans. Monitor budget variances, track recruitment pipelines to prepare revenue forecasts, and identify cost-saving strategies to maximize resource efficiency.

Payroll Management: Prepare and process monthly staff payroll, calculate salaries, overtime, and authorized deductions, ensuring timely and strictly confidential disbursements.

Financial Control & Compliance: Maintain data security and confidentiality of sensitive financial transactions. Ensure strict compliance with Nepal government recruitment regulations, tax obligations, and proper documentation for internal and external audits.

Requirements & Qualifications

Skills and background we are looking for

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies (BBS), Business Administration (BBA), Accounting, or Finance.
✓
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting (experience in the manpower/recruitment industry is a strong advantage).
✓
Strong mastery of accounting principles and financial compliance.
✓
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Odoo Accounting.
✓
Advanced skill in MS Excel / Google Sheets for financial modeling, reporting, and payroll management.
✓
Competencies: High numerical aptitude, analytical capability, sharp attention to detail, and top-tier ethical standards with strict adherence to confidentiality.
